002: AWAKE! – The Missing Piece

On this episode, I discuss the “missing piece” that keeps us from creating momentum in our lives and how we can combat this obstacle.

About Steve

Hi, I'm Steve Rice and my goal is to transform simple philosophical truths into practical fuel to revolutionize your life. It's not about self-help, it's about self-reliance. I show you how. Connect with me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter and let me know how I can help you.

  • You sound wonderful Steve!

The podcast was pure inspiration and made me feel truly refreshed! Loved your example of the maple tree- it does make a lot of sense. I guess we need to be happy and content with who and what we are, rather than trying to be something or someone different- just as being a maple tree and being happy and proud to be one 🙂

You are already doing great with these podcasts and keep them coming 🙂

Awww…glad you enjoyed it, Harleena! I appreciate the positive encouragement. If you have any other suggestions about topics or formatting things, feel free to let me know.

  • This is awesome, Steve!

I have had similar realizations about what I’m good at… You mentioned sales. I know for a fact that I suck at that. But much like you, if I believe in something or a product, I am “better” at sales. Not great, just better.

I think once we know who we are, we can then better adjust to where we fit. As a blogger, I fall right into place. Why? I know I’m a great communicator, and I love to communicate. I love meeting new people. Most of all, I love to write. Since I know all of these things about myself, I know it fits. You made some awesome points!

I absolutely loved this podcast! I think you ROCKED IT!! I’m with Harleena, keep them coming!! 🙂

    Great job, buddy!

Thank you so much for the great encouragement. I’m going to keep improving it. My goal is to get some great reviews on iTunes, so if you have an account, would you jump over there and leave an honest review. My goal is to have 50 good reviews in the next 2 months.

Reviews help the podcast to get “found” on iTunes and help with rankings. You can find the review option on the podcast page (click the logo) and it’s under “customer review”

      Thanks once again.
